It is our goal to spread the wonders of aerospace to the world. We use our photography, and our writing abilities to preserve the events of the past and the present to do so. Through rocket launches, In flight photography, and airshows, we are able to create fantastic images that instill wonder in the imagination. Adding on to this, through informative articles and interviews we are able to preserve the history of the past, and the happenings of the present, and imagine about the future. It is our goal to use these tools to inspire all, no matter the age. 


A lifelong enthusiast of all things aviation and spaceflight, Matt is the creator of The Aerospace Geek. Born and raised in Tehachapi California, Matt has been in and around the aerospace community since the day he was born. Now based in Cape Canaveral Florida, Matt covers many aviation and spaceflight events throughout the United States, and abroad, through photography and many of the articles posted to the website.

Cameron Smith

Historian & Northwestern US Photographer

Cameron was born and raised in Rolla, Missouri, and is a member of the United States Naval Academy Class of 2016 where he was selected to be a Naval Aviator. After training duties in Florida & Texas, Cameron moved to Oak Harbor, Washington, where he is a Maritime Patrol pilot. Cameron has volunteered at the Naval Academy Museum and the United States Naval Aviation Museum as well as being an avid aviation photographer and military historian. Cameron covers aviation events in the Pacific Northwest, and contributes to historical articles.

A Southern California native, Christopher is an aviation photography powerhouse in the Southwestern US. From shooting photos of Red Flag ops at Nellis AFB, Days out at the famed Star Wars Canyon, and significant time at Plant 42, Edwards AFB, and Mojave Air & Space Port, Christopher has seen and photographed it all, with multiple publications to prove it. Christopher covers aviation events within the southwest, and also covers rocket launches out of Vandenberg AFB.
